This Spicy Grapefruit Margarita is the perfect way to start off the Cinco de Mayo holiday! Grapefruit juice, lime juice and tequila combine together with jalapeño to provide some zing. Rim the glass with a spicy sweet chili sugar and you’re ready to party!
Make a party-size batch of this awesome margarita or an individual one. Both recipes are below.

Chili powder, kosher salt and sugar combine to make the rim coating. Just rub a little lime juice around the lip of each glass and dip the glass in a bowl filled with the rim coating.
For the margarita, simply combine all of the ingredients and let sit a bit to infuse the margarita with the spiciness of the jalapeño. Chill in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
To serve it, remove the jalapeños, add ice to the salt-rimmed glasses and pour over ice. Garnish with a grapefruit and/or lime slice.
